I gave this all 10's because it does what it says. Features: it has 4 wired for coil tapping and parallel.
I wanted to write this review to let you know how I used it. I made a custom Warmoth telecaster with Dimarzio twang king pickups in the neck and bridge. I used the Hot Minibucker in the middle position with a third knob to "bleed" in the sound of this pickup into any of the normal 3 positions (neck, neck and bridge, bridge). The idea was to "fatten" up the sound of any of the 3 positions or to turn the single coils all the way down and just use the minibucker.
Well, ultimately the pickup is too hot to be paired with the bright and low output twang kings (why I didn't see that coming I don't know). Shoulda gone with the (not hot) minibucker. But I'm going to change it out for the new vintage neck minibucker.
This pickup would be great for bridge position with another minibucker in the neck, or as a neck pickup with a higher output pickup in the bridge.
