I recently bought one of these - albeit from another site - as an upgrade to my strat. It retains the feel of a vintage style trem but is perfectly capable of a bit of whammy abuse. I have a graphtech nut and gotoh locking machine heads for stability too. Highly recommended if you want a more stable and usable trem without losing the vintage feel.

i have recently bought this and fitted it to my standard Jackson RR1 which was only £250 as it is a basic model but I've added/replaced areas i wanted to custom including a RR5 neck/head
this part must be at least my third bridge I've used and this one is the first to give me the metal feel with endless quality's from perfect dive bombing to inch perfect soloing
this part has brought me closer to my perfect guitar =]

I concur with the others: This is a great sounding bridge, and turned out to be salvation in my quest for a stable and accurate tremolo system.
It should be mentioned, however, that the intonation system here is less than elegant, and makes accurate intonation a lot harder than in other systems.
Other than that - a great bridge that deserves the "best of both worlds"-tag.

i own 2 of these , and they do have the top end sparkle indeed, total ease of control. to me the best locating arm setup and always returns back to tune.
only draw back is spares availability is a nightmare. just no chance of rebuying a arm if you loose one.
i know ive tried.
