The OEM Earvana nut is fantastic! Cowboy chords and open string licks sound MUCH more in tune on a Strat or Tele style guitar. I plan to use one on all of my future guitar projects. The only reason I gave it a '8' instead of a '10' for features is that I wish that it was shaped nicer from the factory (it's kind-of square and clunky looking) although it looks way better than the non-OEM Earvana.

Installed there oem version on a my personally built solid body strat and the sound is amazing..Certainly a lot more appealing then paying for a retrofit buzz feiton !

I installed an Earvana on my mid 1980's Japanese Strat. I was pretty easy to install but I did have to sand and file quite a bit to get it to seat correctly. The guitar does indeed play more in tune now. An open D chord now rings true and is in tune with the open E chord.

I bought one and wow. The tone was like better than SRV. Diminished chords gave a new ambient texture and minors made me want to cry just like a baby. Way to go!
