If twang is your thang then this is your pickup. I use this in the neck position with a Fast Track T rail humbucker in the bridge with 500 K volume pot and a 1 meg tone pot and 4-way mod switch. Lots of that "Bakersfield" vibe. I have alot of teles and this is my favorite combination.

Howdy,
I've had a TK set in my Mahogany Tele for 5+ years now and love 'em. They're great for Bakersfield clean all the way to Keef style 'Stones raunch.
The middle position and bridge position are my favorites. Most favor the neck, though. Truly a "best bang-for-the buck" P/U.

I put one of these in a Fender CIJ `71. The stock japanese pu had all the common problems associated with tele neck pus - a dark, muddy sound and low output. This thing solves all of them! Perfectly balanced with a thumping bass, singing midrange and glassy highs - and no harshness at all. Almost like a strat neck pu -but better! ;-)

I've been playing for 5 decades. I have several very nice guitars. I recently bought a CV Tele which is a nice piece of wood. I changed the pick-guard to a better quality and popped in two TK pickups, bridge and neck. In a recent video of a concert performance I was playing several guitars. They all sound wonderful. I picked up the axe fitted with the TK pickups and that thing cut through and exuded character and was responsive to the touch and sang like there was no tomorrow. Thank you TK ~ I am having a lot of fun.
